The need for structure…

As I get into the swing of things at Adelante and VolCom, there is not much to report tonight. I spent my day looking up immigration statistics and a few other errands. Tomorrow I meet with Lares and Amy to determine what projects I’ll be starting for them.

Structure is so important in our lives. I used to hate it, and felt a routine and schedule was just a way to restrain me from my exploring the world, and my thoughts. But without structure, I find myself being less active, less motivated, and less productive. There’s something to be said about the familiarity of routine—just don’t forget it’s okay to take a different path home once and a while…

I am going to take tonight off to rest, and let this TED talk fill the page. Enjoy!
